Mental health is never one-size-fits-all. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Illinois, I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and other complex mental health conditions. I also hold a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International, enabling me to provide informed, sensitive care for people during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.

My clinical style is rooted in a holistic, evidence-based approach, combining psychiatric expertise with compassion and respect for your lived experience. Whether you’re exploring medication for the first time or refining your long-term care plan, I’ll meet you where you are: with openness, clarity, and trust.

I help clients understand their diagnosis, evaluate treatment options, and feel confident in their decisions. Through medication management, lifestyle support, and therapeutic collaboration, I aim to empower you on your path to healing.

Hola! Are you struggling to express your thoughts, feelings, or emotions? Do you find it difficult to motivate yourself? You may feel like it is all your fault, afraid you are misunderstood, or feel like you are hopeless. You might even be swinging back and forth between feeling you are not good enough and self-blame. Furthermore, you may begin to find it challenging to connect with yourself.

It is possible to mend your pain and find inner peace within yourself!

I am dedicated to helping people find their sense of worth and belonging, as individuals and with those around them. As a first-generation Latina from the south side of Chicago, I have seen the difficulties and challenges that can occur when feeling unwanted and not good enough. Whether it is talking about yourself, a relationship, challenges, or struggles, I will walk the journey with you.

I am a second-year doctoral student in the PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. Having worked in student affairs, residence life, student interactions, and parent interactions, I have experienced many scenarios, including students facing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, substance abuse, and sexual assault. During these situations, I have been able to listen to the students, speak to them about their emotions and feelings, and depending on the situation, assist with action plans or refer them to counseling services. Additionally, I have worked with parents and explored the impact of biculturalism within a family. I am bilingual and provide counseling in English and Spanish.
