As an Advanced Practice Nurse practitioner providing psychiatric care in Chicago, I provide strength-based, culturally responsive care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Everyone experiences mental distress at some point in life—and seeking support is not only valid but vital. You don’t have to manage everything alone.

Talking about what’s weighing on you can feel uncomfortable, but that first conversation is often the most powerful step toward healing. I’m here not just to offer clinical expertise, but to be your partner in a collaborative process rooted in trust, compassion, and understanding. My work blends evidence-based psychiatric medication management with lifestyle adjustments that align with your personal goals and needs.

My approach is deeply informed by cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and identity-affirming practices. Supporting diverse communities that reflect Chicago’s rich cultural landscape is essential to providing equitable, effective care. I believe every individual deserves access to compassionate, culturally informed care to thrive. My work is driven by a commitment to reduce disparities and promote resilience.

I focus on building a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen and respected. I bring lived experience and cultural insight into the unique mental health challenges faced by Black communities, including the impact of systemic racism, stigma around mental health, and intergenerational trauma. I’m committed to culturally responsive care that honors identity, resilience, and community context. Our work together will be grounded in active listening, emotional clarity, and a shared commitment to your growth. Healing isn’t just about symptom relief—it’s about rediscovering your strengths and finding a renewed sense of balance and purpose.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Illinois Wesleyan University and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rush University. I am passionate about early intervention in childhood and young adult mental health. Addressing challenges early sets the foundation for lifelong well-being. supporting diverse communities

Whether you are beginning your mental health journey or returning to care for continued support, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experience with dignity. I’m honored to walk beside you as we identify what wellness looks like for you—and support you in moving forward with clarity, confidence, and self-awareness.
