As a queer trauma therapist in Chicago, I offer LGBTQ+-affirming therapy for individuals navigating identity, self-worth, and healing from shame and trauma.. If you’ve made it here, I want to begin by saying—congratulations and welcome. Reaching out for support and prioritizing your emotional well-being is no small task. I hope you take a moment to honor yourself for taking this step.

Maybe you’re feeling drawn to explore the deeper parts of who you are. Perhaps you’re unlearning scripts formed by family, trauma, culture, or society—and longing to reclaim your life on your own terms. You may be seeking to grow in self-compassion, understand your identities.  Finding clarity in the ways past pain continues to show up. Whatever brought you here, know that you are safe, seen, and fully welcome.

I work collaboratively with individuals who want to build emotional insight, heal from interpersonal and systemic trauma, and foster a deeper connection with themselves. Together, we’ll co-create a warm, authentic space where you can explore the patterns contributing to pain and move toward growth.

My approach blends modalities that support whole-person healing, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Feminist Therapy, Queer Theory, Liberation Psychology, somatic awareness, and creative expression. I strive to meet clients where they are and adapt our work to honor your lived experiences, intersecting identities, and evolving needs.

As a queer and non-binary therapist, I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ clients as they navigate identity, relationships, and mental health. I specialize in working with survivors of sexual and relationship violence and have extensive experience in trauma advocacy and sex education.

I earned my BA in Political Science from Stanford University and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I’m a certified domestic and sexual violence counselor and currently facilitate the Survivors Reclaiming Self Group, as well as co-facilitate Queering Connection and From Self-Criticism to Self-Compassion therapy groups.

Therapy with me is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in liberation. I bring my full, authentic self into every session and invite you to do the same. Together, we will hold space for all parts of you—messy, vibrant, painful, joyful—and move toward deeper self-acceptance and healing.

I offer virtual and in-person sessions through Mind Body Co-op in Chicago. Let’s connect when you’re ready.
