As a Mandarin-speaking therapist in Chicago, I offer culturally sensitive, bilingual therapy for adults, couples, and international students navigating stress, identity exploration, life transitions, and emotional healing. If you find yourself asking, “Why am I having these thoughts or feelings?” or “What do I truly want for my life?”, you’re not alone. In our ever-changing world, it’s natural for our inner experiences to feel confusing at times.

My goal is to help you reflect on your story with compassion and clarity. Together, we’ll explore the meaning behind your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I offer therapy in both Mandarin and English, creating an affirming, nonjudgmental space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported—especially if you’ve never had that opportunity before.

As an Asian therapist, I am especially passionate about working with marginalized communities and those carrying the weight of cultural expectations, generational pressure, or migration stress.

I have supported many clients, particularly ethnic minorities and international students, with navigating cultural adjustment, self-worth, academic stress, relationship conflict, and trauma. You are not alone in the challenges you face, and your unique perspective matters here.

I draw from a range of approaches to personalize your care, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness practices, humanistic values, and psychodynamic insight. My work is rooted in multicultural awareness and deep respect for your lived experience.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a minor in Education and Educational Services and my Master’s degree in counseling at Northwestern University.

Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you—it’s about understanding and honoring who you are, and helping you move toward the life you want with authenticity and confidence.

我本科毕业于 UW-Madison 心理学专业,辅修教育与教育服务。我目前就读于 Northwestern University 临床心理咨询硕士项目。我是一位整合型流派咨询师,我的治疗方法融合了正念实践、接受与承诺疗法(ACT)、人本主义原则、多元文化视角、叙事疗法、焦点解决方法和心理动力学理论。
